Benjamin Abel McNeilley. That’s me, and here is the place I talk about myself. Except I use my pronouns so it doesn’t seem like I’m talking about myself, even though everyone that reads this knows that I am definitely talking about myself.

Ben has been writing since the age of 10. I promise, he has improved. Over the years, he’s been known to dabble in poetry, song writing, blogs (both personal and public), script writing, and a variety of other forms of written word. This has come with varying success and a whole lot of, “Hey, good job buddy,” from his closest confidants. Mostly his friends. Sometimes his mother. Once from his dad.

Benjamin’s writing is often full of personal and relatable situations. He feels the best way to connect with others is through an emotional bond, and thus finds it a good way to communicate with writing. He enjoys character-driven stories with ensembles rather than the lone protagonist. He also likes to take his sweet time completing things and continually finds himself in situations where he’s overwhelmed by literally doing nothing. PTSD, that’s relatable.

This site has been created so those that know and enjoy BAM’s writing have easy access to it. Here, you will be able to find writing prompts, lost poetry, old (and severely edited) blog posts, and hopefully a lot more. As things move forward, Ben hopes to engage his audience with YouTube videos about his journeys through writing and developing the skills to draw, and ultimately culminating with the completion of a life-long dream: creating his own graphic novel.
